This site, fturek.art, provides an in-depth exploration of my boxed assemblage work. I also maintain a separate website for my book assemblage art at alteredbookart.com.
And for my general ideas about boxed assemblage art, shadowbox art and dioramas I’ve set up boxedassemblage.com.

New England born and raised artist Frank Turek has worked exclusively in the medium of boxed assemblage since 1990.
Turek’s reflective subject matter harkens back to Early-Modernism’s use of plural images as a conveyance of thought. These visual philosophical ideas are realized through the Post-Modern strategy of acquisition art, using acquired images and text from a curated collection of books and magazines.
Frank Turek resides in Portland, Maine.

If you are interested in acquiring or exhibiting the artwork on this website, please email me.
